Who are the best bathroom remodel companies in South Jersey?
By Google review volume, the most-reviewed bathroom remodelers in South Jersey as of September 16, 2026 are Showcase Remodels in Turnersville (4.9 stars, 430 reviews), Elite Home Remodeling in Turnersville (5.0, 183) and PI Kitchen and Bath in Cherry Hill (4.9, 164). Fifteen companies across Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland and Atlantic counties cleared our cutoff of 50+ reviews at 4.6 stars or better.
Expect to pay $12,000 to $25,000 for a full hall-bath remodel in South Jersey in 2026, $4,000 to $8,000 for a powder room, and $25,000+ for a primary bath with a custom tiled walk-in shower.
Every “best bathroom remodelers in South Jersey” page you’ll find is either a lead-gen site that sells your phone number, a company ranking itself #1, or a list somebody padded with businesses from Hoboken. This one is different in two ways. The ranking is nothing but Google review count and rating, pulled on a single day so nobody can game it. And there are no links to any of these companies — not because they aren’t good, but because we haven’t vetted them yet. More on that below.
How this list was built
Three rules, applied the same way to everyone:
- Google reviews only, one snapshot. Ratings and counts were pulled from Google Business Profiles on September 16, 2026, searching bathroom remodeling companies in Cherry Hill, Marlton, Mount Laurel, Moorestown, Voorhees, Sewell, Deptford, Williamstown, Vineland and Egg Harbor Township. Counts will have moved by the time you read this; the order probably hasn’t much.
- Cutoff: 50 or more reviews, 4.6 stars or better. Under 50 reviews, a rating is too easy to move with a few friends. A handful of 5.0-rated shops with 20–40 reviews missed the cut and are named at the bottom.
- Bathrooms have to show up in the reviews. Cabinet showrooms, IKEA kitchen installers and commercial general contractors with big review counts were excluded, even where Google files them under “bathroom remodeler.”
What this list is not: a vetting. We haven’t checked these companies’ NJ registration, insurance or complaint history. That’s the difference between “most reviewed” and “listed in our directory,” and it’s why none of them are linked. Nobody on this list paid for placement, and nobody can.

The volume leader by a wide margin, on the Black Horse Pike in Turnersville. Reviews describe full gut remodels of primary baths and powder rooms, project managers assigned by name, and change orders handled without drama. Also does kitchens and full floors. Reviewers consistently mention the on-site crew leads, which suggests a company with real project management rather than a salesman and a sub.
2. Elite Home Remodeling — Turnersville · 5.0 (183)
183 reviews at a perfect 5.0 is unusual. The reviews mention the owner outlining plans and costs up front, managing the township permit process, and daily setup and cleanup. Multiple reviewers came back for a second bathroom after the first. Also does kitchens and roofing.
3. PI Kitchen and Bath — Cherry Hill · 4.9 (164)
A showroom-based design-build shop on Route 70. Reviews describe meeting in the showroom, a design consultant and a separate project manager, and full bathroom guts where the tile work gets called out specifically. The showroom model suits homeowners who want to see materials before committing.
4. Ultimate Home Design — Mount Laurel · 4.9 (153)
Route 38, Mount Laurel. Reviews describe full three-piece primary bath renovations with a named project manager guiding material choices, and one reviewer’s comparison of a full-remodel quote against shower-retrofit companies is worth reading if you’re deciding between the two.
5. Next Level Remodeling — Marlton · 5.0 (100)
Design-build with in-house designers named in reviews. Reviewers describe layout changes to keep existing features, basement bathrooms, and whole-house work with detailed drawings and documentation. The reviews read like a firm that’s used to larger projects.
6. Cipriani Remodeling Solutions — Mount Laurel · 4.7 (96)
One of the longer-established design-build firms in Burlington County; a reviewer references a fully accessible home built in 1994. Full-service only — reviews note they don’t do partial scopes. Tub-to-walk-in-shower conversions come up repeatedly. Priced at the higher end, per reviewers, with no hidden costs.
7. Blissful Baths & Home — Berlin Township · 4.9 (83)
The first pure bath-conversion company on the list. Reviews describe tub-to-shower conversions and full small-bath guts finished in one to two days, including one with a mold problem. If you have one bathroom and can’t be without it for three weeks, this is the category to look at.
8. Hammertime Construction — Sewell · 4.8 (77)
Gloucester County general contractor on Mantua Boulevard. Reviews describe basement bathrooms, full bath remodels with accurate estimates delivered within hours of the site visit, and honest scoping against a stated budget. Several reviewers mention bad experiences with prior contractors before hiring them.
9. Nuss Construction Company — Marlton · 4.6 (72)
Established Marlton remodeler with a project consultant, production manager and lead carpenter structure that reviewers name individually. Multiple two-bathroom jobs and repeat customers on their third project. The lowest rating on the list, but the reviews are detailed and bathroom-heavy.
10. Calm Water Bath — Cherry Hill · 5.0 (71)
Another one-day bath-conversion specialist, Olney Avenue in Cherry Hill. Reviews are almost entirely tub-to-walk-in-shower conversions completed in a single day, with a named sales consultant. Same category as Blissful; get quotes from both.

What a bathroom remodel costs in South Jersey in 2026
New Jersey bathroom remodels run above the national average — higher labor rates, strict Uniform Construction Code waterproofing and electrical requirements, and older housing stock. But most published “NJ” numbers are North Jersey numbers. Camden and Gloucester County labor is priced against Philadelphia, not Manhattan, so South Jersey quotes typically land in the lower half of these ranges.

The two things that move a South Jersey bathroom quote most: whether the toilet and shower drain stay where they are, and what’s behind the walls. Pre-1960 homes in Collingswood, Haddon Township, Woodbury and Pennsauken routinely turn up galvanized supply lines, cast-iron drains and no vapor barrier once the tile comes off. Reviews for several companies on this list mention exactly that. Budget a 15% contingency on any house older than you are.
Permits: when a South Jersey bathroom remodel needs one
Under N.J.A.C. 5:23-2.7, replacing fixtures in the same location with like fixtures — a new toilet where the old one was, a new vanity, new tile on the floor and walls — is ordinary maintenance and needs no permit. The moment you move or add plumbing, run a new electrical circuit, change the exhaust fan ducting, or alter framing to enlarge the room, it becomes permitted work with a township inspection. A full gut remodel almost always crosses that line somewhere. Your contractor should tell you which permits they’re pulling and show the fee on the quote. If they say “we don’t bother with permits,” that’s your answer on whether to hire them.
Review count is not vetting. Do three things: get the company’s NJ Home Improvement Contractor registration number (it starts with 13VH) and look it up at the Division of Consumer Affairs; ask for a certificate of insurance naming you; and get a written contract with start and completion dates — NJ requires one for any job over $500.

Do I need a permit to remodel a bathroom in NJ?
Not for like-for-like fixture and finish replacement in the same location. Yes for moving or adding plumbing, new electrical circuits, exhaust changes, or framing changes. Most full gut remodels need one. Your contractor pulls it from the township construction office.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
One to two days for an acrylic tub-to-shower conversion, three to seven days for a powder room, two to three weeks for a full three-piece bath, three to four weeks for a large primary bath. Add time for tile lead times and permit inspections.
